WHAT WE DO

The Veterans Resource Program's mission is to provide a clean, safe living environment for veterans who may be homeless, formerly incarcerated, returning home from the military, and for those who are looking for stability and want to reunite with their families. We enhance the well-being of our men and women veterans who have risked their lives for our country. We help them regain their dignity, move them onto a path of wholeness and restoration where they can dream again and rejoin society. We honor them and help them develop a health consciousness and provide opportunities for higher learning and employment.

“The idea that anyone who has worn our country’s uniform spends their nights sleeping on the ground should horrify us.”
— MICHELLE OBAMA (National Alliance to End Homelessness, Annual Conference, July 2014)

OUR VISION

The vision of the Veterans Resource Program is to provide sufficient transitional and permanent housing to end veteran homelessness. Inherent in our housing vision is the inclusion of a wide variety of wrap around services to meet, exceed and transcend the day-to-day challenges of independent living.  Our overarching goal is to locate, acquire, renovate and make properties available for veteran residency.
